Let us know what you think!
Since I am a die hard Memphis Grizzlies fan, I want Sabonis to fall out of the lottery to us. We could use a big guy that is so skilled like he is. We haven’t drafted a good young player in a long time.

He’d be a great fit on that team next to Gasol. Where do you place your guys odds of keeping Conley? Sounds like the Spurs will go after him hard.

I listen to all of the local sports talk, and it sounds like we will offer him about 5 years 130 million. If he leaves, it won’t be because of money. When Gasol signed up last year, it almost guaranteed Conley in my mind. Conley and Gasol are very, very tight because their personalities are so similar. I`d say probably 90% chance he is back with Memphis.

I actually wrote a post on the Conley situation a couple weeks back as well. https://connernorton.com/2016/04/26/should-the-grizzlies-resign-mike-conley/

You have some great points. Hard to leave “home” when the money is right. Who do you want them to bring in as a coach? Think that’ll affect the decision any?

I want Frank Vogel, since he is proven and those Pacers teams played a style that fits our current roster perfectly. We have an open check book for a coach, and I know our GM loves Vogel. I do not think the coaching change will have a negative effect on Conley. The players had a much tougher time with Lionel Hollins leaving than Joerger.

This may sound weird, but someone took a picture of our GM, Chris Wallace, and Lionel Hollins at a local restaurant and posted it on twitter. The person who fired Hollins, Jason Levien, is no longer in charge here anymore. Chris Wallace as far as we know is on good terms with Lionel, so that could be a possibility as well.

Bringing Hollins back would be huge. I’ve always been a fan of his.

i feel as if the number one and two picks should be different. i have a whole post about it on my page . swing by there and check it out if you get a chance and drop a follow . i just think that Simmons inability to shoot will demolish the overall basketball motion of the 76ers . well thats mostly because they have so many paint dominant bigs

I’m tending to agree with you. Especially since Simmons doesn’t want to be in Philly. The idea of them trading Noel or Okafor is interesting. Will definitely check out your post.
